Now hiring: a (ColdFusion) Systems Developer in the London area
I'm currently trying to recruit a systems developer to join the 192.com Development Team in what I think is a very interesting role. In order to support the development of the product and its new features while maintaining the existing version, I'm looking for someone to take care of the day-to-day bug fixing and optimizing the existing production site and working on small to medium sized projects mostly related to the version of the product currently in production. The second part of the role has more to do with system engineering rather than development. While the majority of the team is working on new products and features, we also need to set up & streamline deployment processes, application server configurations, application monitoring and statistics, stress testing and benchmarking. You will also be responsible for deployment to the production environment as well as looking after the application server configurations.
I'm looking for a candidate who is fairly new to ColdFusion but with exposure to the popular frameworks & technologies in the ColdFusion community. Think of MVC frameworks (ModelGlue, Mach-II, Fusebox) , DI/IoC containers (Coldspring, Lightwire) and Unit testing (MXUnit, CFCUnit, CFUnit). The second must-have is related to the system engineering side of things, you need to have experience working with a Linux/Unix/Solaris system so you can set up and configure web & application servers (apache, tomcat, coldfusion) and troubleshoot any performance issues on the box.
Have a look at the job description, and if you're interested please send an email with C.V. to remy.becher at 192.com
